Few cities are as fan-friendly as ours. From the Fiesta Bowl to Cactus League Spring Training to NASCAR to the PGA Tour, the nation's fifth-largest city plays host to some of the biggest sporting events in the world. Phoenix also fields franchises in all four major professional sports leagues, so there's always a game happening.
Some of our sports venues are fun even when there's no game in town. You can take a guided tour of University of Phoenix Stadium (home of the NFL's Arizona Cardinals and site of Super Bowl XLII) to learn about the inner workings of its roll-out grass field and retractable roof.
If you're a baseball fan, spring is your time to catch 13 teams all in close proximity to each other. At spring training, you can get seats close to the game, enjoy the sun with open festival seating, and get your ball signed by your favorite player. Check out maps and addresses to the field of your team.
Spring Training:
For five weeks every spring, 13 teams come to the Phoenix area for Cactus League Spring Training. Get up close to your favorite players, enjoy the sun with a comfortable spot in the grass and help your team get ready for the season.

The Phoenix Regional Sports Commission (PRSC) is one of the oldest Sports Commissions in the nation. The mission of the PRSC is to “Enrich Our Community Through Sports" through three initiatives. First: by representing the citizens of the Valley to bring national and international sporting events to the state. Second: to assist in the promotion of existing sporting events and our area sports teams. And third: to support youth sports programs.
The PRSC is supported by three main groups of community leaders. The core leadership of the Commission is a 40-member Board of Directors. There is also a 100-member grass roots group called the Champions Circle. Lastly a 20-member committee of community leaders manages the Sports Commission's Arizona Sports Hall of Fame.
